PRICING & LATE FEES

Is there a late fee for registering for camp?
Summer Day Camp has a $10 late fee added to the price of the program when registering Monday-Wednesday prior to week of the camp start date.

Early Bird Pricing
If you purchase camp by Sunday, March 31st, you will get early bird pricing for selected camps (does not include Gymnastics Camps).


DRAFTS & PAYMENTS

How do my drafts and payments work?
YMCA Summer Day Camp sessions require a $25 deposit per camp week due at the time of registration, which applies to that week of camp. Parents may pay for sessions in full or pay online up through the payment due date (see payment schedule). If weeks are not paid by the specified due date, the YMCA will draft for those weeks. For example, Weeks 1-3 are due by 5/13/19. If not paid, the YMCA will draft on 5/15/19. Once a child is registered, parents may visit their online account and pay down their balance ahead of a scheduled draft. This can be useful if you need to reduce your monthly drafts or wish to pay ahead for camp. We accept debit and credit cards online and cash, check, or debit or credit cards at the YMCA branch. In order to pay a deposit up front only, you must put a credit card on file with the YMCA for the draft if you do not pay by the scheduled due date, either online or in person at any Sarasota Family YMCA location.


CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

What if I need to cancel my camp weeks?
In order to cancel a week or weeks, the YMCA must receive written notice 10 days prior to the start of the program. We will retain/charge the nonrefundable deposit of $25. If canceling after the 10 day cancellation period, you will be charged for the entire week of camp. When you register your child, you are reserving space, time and staffing whether your child attends the program or not.

What is the YMCA's refund policy?
If you have already paid in full for that week and are canceling before the 10-day cancellation period, you will be charged the nonrefundable registration fee/deposit of $25 only and we will refund the remaining paid. If cancelling after the 10-day cancellation period, you will be charged for the entire week of camp. If a refund is due, the refund will first be applied to any past due balance from program fees, membership dues, or afterschool care fees. YMCA registration fees and/or deposits are nonrefundable.

All refunds are issued to the original form of payment, excepting cash, which will be refunded by check. Refunds are issued within 2-3 weeks of cancellation date.

Not attending the program does not entitle you to a refund. When you register your child, you are reserving space, time and staffing whether your child attends the program or not.

How are refunds calculated?
Any amount paid over the deposit of $25 will be refunded, if the 10-day cancellation period prior to the start of the week of camp is met.


CHANGING CAMPS OR CAMP WEEKS

What if I need to transfer to a new week of Summer Day Camp or a different Camp at the Sarasota Family YMCA?
In order to transfer a weekly session, the YMCA must receive written notice 10 days prior to the start of the program. The $25 deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable.
