Andrea “Onnie” leads a masterful yoga practice and is a wealth of knowledge. The small class size and workshop format caters to personalized attention, open discussions and feedback on proper alignment, modifications, and adjustments for all poses and sequencing of poses for each body. No experience is necessary, however good humor and an open mind are helpful. We progressively build upon each class throughout the eight weeks and incorporate all yoga pose types (active, passive, restorative). Poses will enhance one’s balance, range of motion, symmetry, proper biomechanics and application of leverage and breath. Props, yoga blocks, and yoga straps are utilized during class. We have fun. You’ll surely expand your knowledge and/or perception of flexibility, particularly as it relates to your everyday lifestyle.
