The YMCA is committed to offering access to all in our healthy living programming. We are grateful for our relationships with insurance companies over the years and continue to share with them a mutual commitment to the health and well-being of our members. Unfortunately, our YMCA can no longer sustain the insurance memberships. We will be stopping this program on December 1, 2018.


HOW YOU CAN MAINTAIN YOUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE 

Our commitment to your health and well-being is unwavering. To ease the transition process, the Y has launched new membership rates as well as a streamlined financial assistance process to ensure cost is not a barrier for anyone to have access to a healthy lifestyle. New rates: $39.99 for an Individual membership (ages 30 & over), $69.99 for a Dual membership (2 people under 1 household), $19.99 for a Young Individual membership (up to 29 years old) and $89.99 for a Household membership (2 adults & dependents under 1 household).

WHY WILL THE Y NO LONGER BE PROVIDING INSURANCE MEMBERSHIPS?

The YMCA can no longer financially sustain insurance memberships as the payments we receive from the insurance provider is close to 60% less than what a membership costs. As a non-profit organization, offering pools, hundreds of group exercise classes, and speciality programs we could no longer continue accepting insurance. We did renegotiate  our contracts, however it didn’t provide enough to continue.
